Directions on attaching your photo to an email:

First, the directions on how to get an image from your camera to your desktop.  Right click anywhere on your desktop and create a new folder.  You can also rename the folder by right clicking on the folder itself.  Depending on your camera and memory card type, you have several options.  Most cameras come with a cord to connect it to your computer.  If yours does not have a cord, there are card readers available at most stores and they are inexpensive.  The most common type plugs into the side of your computer and you simply place your memory card into the card reader slot designated for the type you are using.  Some computers have a built in slot for memory cards.  After inserting the card in the appropriate slot, your images will appear on your screen or an window with icons representing the images will appear and there will be a prompt to select the images you would like to save and where on your desktop you want to save them.  Designate the folder you created on your desktop.

Emailing an image is simply selecting the tab on the email that reads attach or attachment.  You will be asked to browse for your folder which is located on the desktop. A list should appear- choose desktop then choose the folder you created. The folder should then open a window that has the image numbers or names that are in the folder you selected.  Click on the image you want and follow the prompts to attach.  It will take a minute or so to scan the attachment.  When the number or name of your image appears on the attachment bar of the email, your simply send the email.  If you have problems with image size, try to send images one at a time.  Sometimes images are simply too large, but jpegs typically are not.  Resizing an image is more complicated.  If you have any questions, please email me at photobydana@yahoo.com
